摘要

目的评估不同工艺UHMWPE纤维防弹层在模拟实战条件下的多角度抗弹性能差异,为单兵防护装备的材料选择和结构设计提供依据。方法采用控制变量的研究方法,通过控制面密度变量（5.4 kg/m²）,分别测试软质（物理堆叠）和硬质（热压成形）2种工艺防弹层在0°、30°、45°入射角下的抗弹性能。通过定量分析凹陷变形和弹道极限测试（v₅₀）评价防弹层的防护效能。结果硬质防弹层手枪弹冲击凹陷值显著低于软质结构。等边三角形射击布局中,第三发射击点的凹陷深度较前两发的最大凹陷值增加12%以上。软质防弹层破片弹道极限值高于硬质层,且其在45°入射时的v₅₀值较0°时提升14.3%~14.8%。结论同样的面密度下,硬质UHMWPE防弹层更适用于防手枪弹,而软质结构在防破片方面具有优势。增大入射角度可显著提升防护性能,射击点位布局对防护效能具有重要影响。

Abstract

The work aims to evaluate the ballistic performance differences of UHMWPE fiber armor panels with different manufacturing processes under multi-angle impact conditions simulating real combat scenarios, thereby providing evidence-based guidance for material selection and structural design of personal protective equipment. A controlled-variable methodology was implemented, with all test panels maintaining a constant areal density of 5.4 kg/m². Both soft (physically stacked) and hard (thermally compressed) configurations were tested against pistol bullets and fragments at 0°, 30°, and 45° impact angles. Protection effectiveness was quantitatively assessed through indentation depth analysis and ballistic limit (v₅₀) testing. The hard panels demonstrated significantly lower indentation depths compared to soft panels under pistol bullet impact. In equilateral triangular shooting patterns, the third impact point showed over 12% greater indentation depth. Soft panels exhibited superior fragment protection with higher v₅₀ values, showing 14.3%-14.8% v₅₀ improvement at 45° versus normal impact at 0°. At equivalent areal density, hard UHMWPE panels are more suitable for pistol bullet protection while soft configurations demonstrate advantages against fragments. Increasing impact angle significantly enhances protective performance, and shot placement pattern critically affects armor effectiveness.
