Abstract: |
For aircraft icing, the MVD of liquid droplet is an important parameter in icing cloud, therefore, suitable nozzle selected for the icing cloud simulation become very important. Experimental investigation was carried out on two different aperture atomizers using Malvern Spraytec droplet analyzer and the droplet size distribution was analyzed at the minimum MVD condition.The result showed that MVD will decrease gradually with increase of air pressure; the spray cone angle has a little undulation when air pressure and water flux change. |
