Abstract:
The thermal oxidation aging tests of fluorine rubber sealing materials were carried, and by measuring compression permanent deformation and investigating infrared spectrum before and after aging test, molecular structure changes inside the material was analyzed. Aging dynamics equation considering the material compression performance change with the storage time was established, and the storage life of fluorine rubber sealing materials at 25 ℃ was predicted. The results showed that fluorine rubber failure mechanism in conditions of thermal oxidation, is molecular fracture and cross linking; deformation caused by abnormal aging factors have significant influence on the performance of rubber ring; the storage life of fluorine rubber sealing parts at 25 ℃ is 13.8 years.
