Abstract: |
Corrosion performance difference of08MnNiVR and SPV490Q storage tank steel in petroleum sedimentary water was studied using electrochemical test, soak test, and slow strain rate test method (SSRT). Electrochemical test results showed that the corrosion current of 08MnNiVR slightly larger than SPV490Q. Soak test results showed that the corrosion rate of08MnNiVR is slightly larger in the short-term tests; the corrosion rate of SPV490Q is slightly larger in the longer-term tests. The SSRT results showed that stress corrosion susceptibility of the two kinds of steel is low. |
