Abstract: |
Objective To perform simulation analysis and experiment research on noise of a weapon bay. Methods “CFD+CAA” as well as DDES were used to calculate the flow field. Then based on the Möhring acoustics analogy method, information on noise at the measuring spot was obtained. This method was compared with the result of cavity M219 standard test. The blowing test of the weapon bay was carried out in a full anechoic chamber and main noise sources were identified with a microphone array. Results The curves of noise spectrum in different measuring spots are basically in line with each other under different flowing conditions obtained in computation and experiment. The maximum sound pressure level of the weapon bay appeared at the side wall around middle missile wing, this is in line with the position of the main noise source of sound source identification. Conclusion The study can provide reference and technical support for design of weapon bay. |
