Abstract:
The work aims to simulate the loading behavior of diesel engine during the driving on a test bench in order to effectively solve the operating environmental problems in actual service. Based on the analysis of the overall operating characteristics of diesel engine during driving, the fuzzy clustering analysis method was used to extract the operating characteristics on paved road, undulating road, icy and snowy road, highway and graveled road. Seven parameters were designed to describe and analyze the transient changes of diesel engines during the driving, including speed and torque, power, speed change rate, torque change rate, torque and speed change rate, speed and torque change rate, and power change rate. Finally, five typical operating conditions on user road were obtained, and a steady-state operating condition for the test bench was comprehensively optimized based on the principle of proximity and reinforcement. According to the data composed of five road pavements, transient operating conditions were obtained through multi-parameter description and chi square calculation. The comprehensive optimization of the two formed a simulation test cycle for the bench test. Compared with the load during the actual driving, the formed cycle load is slightly higher than the actual load. After the verification, it is proved that the operating problems of diesel engine have been significantly reduced, improving the user experience.
